@safenetwork You could be right but it looked a bit too large to be a wren although I was a long way away, maybe 30-40 m and so judging size was difficult. I agree that the round shape suggests it could well be a wren.

@mkwadee At this time of year, they find a tree in blossom and sing to attract females.
