Hell is having to pick up a part built ikea build when everything is open and it is half assembled... but did they do it correctly?

@tig
I am sure they didn't and missed something ๐Ÿ˜ *puts oil into the fire*

@tpheine ended up having to take virtually all of it apart again as it was all just one step out and didn't fit. Not surprised they gave up! Because different products share so many parts these days it is way more complicated than it used to be.

@tig
Fuq progress, it was all better back in the days ๐Ÿ˜Ž

@tpheine from an efficiency point of view it is impressive to see some of the choices they have made but it doesn't always make sense to the person building it at the time so I can understand the confusion. Never go near an Ikea build without a fully charged electric screwdriver! (New one charges over USB which is a really nice feature)

@tig
You're cheating with electric tools? Heretic! It's only real when you have blisters on your hands.

@tpheine if you knew how many times I used the reverse direction to unscrew something then rescrew it up on the next hole over...

Actually I think I managed it this time without bleeding all over the thing :)
