Looking for a good Linux distro to install (probably dual-boot) on my mid 2013 MacBook Pro.
Any suggestions? Experiences?
@voidspace I've only experienced Mint (Cinnamon) but can tell you that it is excellent. It's aesthetically pleasing, feels familiar and has great features out of the box, such as Timeshift (easy system snapshots/restore). Very happy with it. I've also heard good things about Manjaro.
Testing Mint on new HP now, then Mac. :)
I've put Elementary on such a Mac for a non-Linux user and had a problem with right-click recognition by the pad (So it's rather a not-to-install ^^)
@voidspace Debian is a good start.
Elementary OS and PopOS!
