Pretty disturbed by Stross's final remark at #34c3 that we all need to be on fb because opting out is like cutting our mouths off despite our face.
I'll be here when you need me: If you're ever debating anything and someone spats at you "...Let it go. Everyone is on fb!" Remember I'm here for you. Go ahead, say it. "No. Neither isn't." Along with all sorts of people you've never heard of, because they're not on fb.
