@lovelylovely I don't understand enough of the American race situation to make a meaningful comment on the distribution but I do know maths. If about 5% of whites switched from blue to red, red gets the most votes, 'cause it was 47-51 right? 5%, how hard can it be to find five percent more sane people in that group?

Not Quite. Trump got similar support in terms of absolute voters. It's more a case of 10% who voted for Biden didn't vote at all this year. Some of that will have been their decision, but some will be down to voter suppresion.
