@dick_turpin Could you put them all in the image description? You had a good run. Doing a regular podcast is a commitment that I have failed at.
@steevc Not sure I understand what you mean? Oh, wait. Yeah. I know we should all be good humans and do write-ups on our images, but the whole point of Twitter/Fediverse etc., was/is the ability to throw out throwaway comments. It's not like I'm writing a blog. I understand the reasons why people say you should do it, but then it means my Toots etc. take an extra 5 mins which defeats the whole object IMO. #CallMeLazy
@dick_turpin I was just thinking you could paste the text there so it's actually readable :) Images of text can be hard to read. I don't get anal about others notating images, but you have to bear in mind that some people can't see them
@steevc Yeah, I know. There are so many social rules, conventions and desires we're supposed to adhere to. It's taking all the fun out of it IMO. If it's not the government trying to control what we do and say on the internet, then it's groups of people forcing their values down other people's throats. I'd like to know what happened to my freedom coz it seems to fallen by the wayside at some point along the journey.
@dick_turpin Every platform has its own politics. Where's the downvote button around here?
@steevc Ha! Funny you saying that. My daughter did a "Dislike" on a text message I sent her. I was all over that with hobnailed boots. She won't be doing that again in a hurry.
I wonder what arse-wipe at Apple thought it was a good idea to have likes and dislikes on text messages which nearly 100% will come from friends or family and probably "former" if people start liking and disliking.
